Job summary

Bridgewell in Lynn, MA is seeking a Classroom Aide 3 to provide one-to-one support for individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in daily living activities. This role supports participants across day services with a focus on safety, dignity, and independence.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 8:30am–3:30pm schedule (35 hours weekly) with benefits and opportunities for professional growth within Bridgewell's continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, developmental training program, or related experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles of normalization, behavior management, and human rights.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with and train individuals on Day Services Plan objectives.
• Collect data on goals of each individual.
• Document daily medical data or target behaviors.
• Participate in general programmatic duties (arrivals, breaks, lunches, departures).
• Assist with upkeep of the program and report maintenance issues.
• Protect individuals' rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned.
• Attend required meetings.
• Maintain FA/CPR and PABC certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
