Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a One-to-One Aide to support the teacher in delivering IEP-specified services for an identified student. You will supervise the student and provide instructional support under the direction of the teacher.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe learning environment, managing student behavior, documenting progress, transporting support, and participating in team activities to enhance student outcomes.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children and families, preferably in a school setting.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe learning environment for students within school policies.
• Supervise and manage student behavior in the classroom, school, and school-sponsored functions.
• Provide a consistent and reliable supportive presence in the classroom.
• Escort assigned student to activities as indicated by the IEP.
• Provide individualized instruction and support to an assigned student or small group under teacher direction.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to promote progress and success for the student(s).
• Create an individualized learning environment and support the student’s level of independence.
• Assist with completion of paperwork to record student progress, attendance, and behavior data.
• May support students in transport to/from school and participate in community-based activities.
• Participate in Treatment Team and communicate information in writing and verbally.
• Support positive school culture and ensure student safety; provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings; share Arrow’s mission with staff, students, and families.
