Qualifications

• High school diploma or HSE required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance required.
• State Workshops on Child Abuse, School Safety and Dignity for All Students completed.
• Approval by Westchester Department of Civil Services required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructional support tasks.
• Provide physical and material support for classroom activities.
• Assist with examinations and proctoring as needed.
• May work one-on-one with students with disabilities.
• Help with use of technology and equipment to aid learning.
• Maintain order and discipline in classroom and common areas.
