Bright Pathways provides individualized developmental services for children and families across Texas. We seek experienced Special Education Teachers, Autism Classroom Teachers, Life Skills Teachers, Resource Teachers, Inclusion Teachers, Behavior Interventionists, and Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our growing team.

In this role you will work one-on-one with a child, building strong relationships while helping develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who benefit from individualized behavioral, developmental, communication, or learning support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Passion for helping children reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to one child at a time in their home, school, daycare, or community.
• Each session varies to meet the child’s strengths, challenges, and goals.
• Help a child communicate wants and needs more effectively.
• Teach social skills through games, play, and everyday interactions.
• Support emotional regulation and strategies for managing frustration or changes in routine.
• Promote independence with daily activities like getting dressed and completing homework.
• Foster community skills through experiences like ordering food or grocery shopping.
• Create engaging learning opportunities through play and crafts.
• Celebrate milestones such as new words, new friendships, or independent task completion.
