Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a High School diploma or GED or equivalent and one of the following: Associate’s degree or 48 college hours or Para Pro Assessment passed.
• STAR substitute training completed within one year of hire.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities and follow IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Implement services for students with disabilities per policies.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring for eligible students.
• Assist in implementing behavioral and safety plans and documenting progress.
• Monitor attendance and required documentation; report findings.
• Assist with classroom instruction and life-skills activities under teacher supervision.
• Provide translation support when necessary.
