Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Sixty college credits, an Associate's Degree, or pass Praxis.
• Minimum experience as determined by the board.
• Knowledge of child growth, development, and classroom practices.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Meets health requirements (e.g., TB test).
• Criminal history clearance and U.S. citizenship/residency proof.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical needs and daily routines of students.
• Support instructional activities and reinforce material under supervision.
• Assist in movement, seating, and supervision during routines and transitions.
• Maintain records and collect behavioral data as assigned.
• Plan weekly activities with input from the teacher and monitor student progress.
• Support and supervise students during drills, field trips, and meals.
