Job summary

Nurse Next Door Santa Monica is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors live safely at home. Flexible schedules, one-on-one care, and ongoing support are core parts of the role.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, assisting with ADLs, and following the client’s care plan. Certification is preferred; employer can assist with obtaining it. Background check and TB test are required, with opportunities across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certified (employer can assist with obtaining certification).
• Background Check required.
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old).
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs within the scope of practice.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises as needed.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.
