Dominion Care is seeking a 1:1 Behavior Aide to support a student with academic, behavioral, emotional, and physical challenges in a classroom setting. You will help navigate routines, reinforce positive behaviors, and build social-emotional skills in a hands-on role.

The position emphasizes de-escalation, data collection, and collaboration with teachers. Requires a High School Diploma or GED; collegiate coursework and driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Collegiate level coursework in behavioral sciences is preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth or individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide constant support and supervision to the student throughout the school day.
• Assist with transitions, classroom routines, and adherence to the IEP/BIP.
• Document daily progress and behaviors, tracking frequency and duration.
• Use de-escalation techniques and interventions when needed.
• Foster positive peer and adult relationships and model school conduct.
• Participate in meetings related to the student’s plans and progress.
