You will work with experienced veterinary oncologists and a skilled team to provide advanced treatment, compassionate care, and ongoing support for pets battling cancer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Oncology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including handling, restraint, and medication administration.
• Collect and record patient history and vital signs.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Monitor and document patient progress during and after treatment.
• Perform routine diagnostic procedures, such as blood work, cytology, and radiology.
• Administer treatments, including chemotherapy, under the guidance of veterinarians.
• Assist with specialized procedures like ultrasound, biopsy, and CT scans.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Provide support and education to pet owners facing a cancer diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
