You will assist with oncology appointments, diagnostics, chemotherapy, anesthesia, and patient recovery, while educating clients and collaborating with specialists across departments.
VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing Medical Oncology Service! Schedule: Full-Time opportunities available, 4 x 10-hour weekday shifts, no scheduled weekends. Compensation: $23–33/hour. Starting pay is determined by licensure, skill set, and years of experience.
As a Medical Oncology Veterinary Technician, you’ll work alongside two board‑certified Medical Oncologists and a board‑certified Radiation Oncologist, providing compassionate care to pets throughout every stage of their cancer journey. You’ll build lasting relationships with patients and their families while utilizing advanced treatments and cutting‑edge medicine in a collaborative specialty environment.
Strong technical skills, especially in placing IVCs, anesthesia, sedation, and anesthetic monitoring.
