BluePearl Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking an Oncology Veterinary Technician to join our oncology team. The role offers a pay range of $20.00 - $40.00 per hour, dependent on experience and advancement through our competency levels.

You will treat and monitor patients, support the clinician, and communicate with clients throughout care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a quick thinker, and capable of multitasking with strong clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a specialty veterinary hospital is preferred.
• Comfort with chemotherapy handling and safety procedures.
• Strong communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and monitor vitals.
• Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Calculate basic medical math and chemo dosages.
• Administer oral and injectable chemotherapy agents.
• Discharge patients with client education.
• Support clinicians with patient care and client communication.
