The position emphasizes leadership, education, performance management, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to advance cancer care programs.

Qualifications

• RN license in Arizona with current BLS certification.
• Five years of relevant nursing leadership experience with demonstrated teaching and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff; interviews, hires and trains; evaluates performance; delegates assignments for 24/7 patient care.
• Assists in managing department budget and staffing plans (acuity) with DON approval.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and hospital policies; improves patient care outcomes.
• Leads development of unit standards of care and staff education programs.
• Acts as liaison to internal/external committees and referral hospitals.
