• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (non-expired/active).

Responsibilities

• Watches cardiac monitors and interprets rhythm patterns; communicates changes to charge nurse; maintains monitor documentation.
• Handles incoming and external calls and coordinates communications with physicians and staff.
• Enters/retrieves patient information in data systems and maintains charts and statistics.
• Orders department supplies and attends department meetings; performs other clerical duties as needed.
