• Watch cardiac monitors and interpret rhythm changes.
• Coordinate communications between nurses, physicians, and other staff.
• Handle incoming calls and coordinate information flow on the unit.
• Enter and retrieve patient information in data systems and maintain charts.
• Order supplies and assist in department meetings.
