Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg Telemetry Unit. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred), current RN licensure, and at least 1 year of RN experience. BLS (and ACLS) certifications are preferred upon hire. This position offers an evenings/nights shift with 30 scheduled hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
• One year of RN experience (required)
• BLS/ACLS certifications preferred upon hire or acceptable in lieu of BLS

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
• Administer medications in a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned
