Job summary

Southeast Georgia Health System is seeking a part-time Unit Coordinator for the Oncology - Medical Surgical unit in Brunswick. This on-site role supports patient care on a unit with duties spanning reception, clerical tasks, and supply coordination.

You will handle front-desk functions, maintain medical records, and assist in obtaining or maintaining supplies while building positive relationships with patients, families, and staff. A high school diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of physician office experience in a healthcare setting, or currently in school for allied health degree.
• American Heart Association BLS by start date.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a receptionist by answering telephone, intercom, and paging systems
• Keeping medical records in proper order
• Requisitioning supplies and equipment and assisting in care and maintenance of those items
