Southeast Georgia Health System in St. Marys, GA, seeks a Part-Time On-Site Receptionist/Clerical Helper for a hospital unit. You will perform reception duties, assist with order entry for diagnostic services, and ensure a clean, safe work area for providers.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 1 year of physician office duties with medical terminology. CPR certification is required.

Formación

• Clerical and computer skills; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Successful completion of Monitor Tech Course within 90 days of employment or transfer.
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Acts as receptionist, greets visitors, answers inquiries, and assists staff and physicians.
• Promptly answers telephone, intercom, and paging systems with proper etiquette.
• Maintains proficiency in available computer systems and follows downtime procedures.
• Keeps medical records in proper order and maintains filing per procedures.
• Assists in care and maintenance of unit equipment and supplies.
• Orders and maintains office supplies.
• Coordinates rhythm documentation and reports arrhythmias as required.
• Gathers admission rhythm strips and places on patient records.
• Ensures transmitter and cables are accounted for per shift.
• Coordinates work to maximize productivity and efficiency.
