Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage oncology trials onsite in Chapel Hill, NC. The role acts as the primary contact among patients, physicians, sponsors, and staff across startup to closeout phases.

The candidate will recruit and enroll participants, coordinate visits, educate patients, and ensure accurate data and regulatory documentation. Onsite work, with occasional travel within UNC facilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year CRC/Study Coordinator experience.
• Experience recruiting, screening, consent, enrollment.
• Proficiency with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle, Inform).
• Regulatory experience including IRB submissions and study docs.
• Experience with study data, source documentation, CRFs.
• Experience with monitoring visits, audits, and query resolution.
• Knowledge of GCP and FDA regulations.
• Oncology and/or Cardiovascular/CNS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of trials: activation, enrollment, conduct, closeout.
• Recruit, screen, consent, and enroll participants.
• Schedule protocol-required patient visits and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and serve as study resource.
• Enter data into systems and maintain source docs.
• Manage regulatory records and ensure compliance.
• Support sponsor monitoring visits, audits and inspections.
• Coordinate collection, processing and shipment of specimens.
• Report AE/SAE, deviations, and study issues.
• Collaborate with investigators and staff on startup and closeout.
