University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Data Coordinator to independently coordinate and manage data entry for oncology treatment trials. The role performs site initiation activities and compiles research patient records in line with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and local policies.

Based in UNC/ACC clinics, the position may include evening/weekend hours and exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Prefer experience with therapeutic clinical research involving drugs or devices.
• Value experience in Phase I, II, and III clinical research.
• Favor experience navigating medical records and extracting data.

Responsabilités

• Enter and manage data for oncology treatment trials.
• Perform site initiation activities for clinical trials.
• Compile research patient records according to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and local policies.
• Work in clinic settings at UNCH or ACC, with occasional evening, weekend, and overtime hours.
• Accept exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
