Job summary
Orlando Health Cancer Institute seeks a qualified Clinical Research Coordinator to develop, coordinate, and implement strategies for management of clinical trials. You will support multi-site studies, assess patient eligibility, and ensure adherence to FDA and protocol guidelines while coordinating regulatory processes.
The role involves collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff, preparation for IRB amendments, and contributing to study audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health‑related field or equivalent required; or
- Associate degree with 1 year clinical research or healthcare experience; or
- Graduate of allied health program with 1 year clinical research or healthcare experience;
- If no degree, two-for-one experience substitution with minimum two years clinical research experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-site or large-scale clinical trials conducted under supervising PI(s).
- Assess patients for protocol eligibility and communicate findings to investigators.
- Coordinate protocol procedures and regulatory documentation for trials.
- Operate specialized equipment as needed; monitor patient responses and adverse events.
