  • Answers and reviews phone calls from patients and caregivers to assess urgency and routing.
  • Reviews patient charts for adverse events prior to provider discussion.
  • Discusses steps with physician/NP to ensure proper patient care.
  • Directs calls to appropriate person and coordinates referrals.
  • Handles prescription refill requests per company policy.
  • May work at multiple locations as needed and overtime with notice.
  • Complies with privacy, safety, and employment laws; follows policies and disaster plan.
