Job summary

Astera Cancer Care in Central New Jersey seeks a Treatment Coordinator to support our Monroe, East Brunswick, Robbinsville, and Somerset offices. You will schedule appointments, coordinate chemotherapy education, and assist clinicians to ensure timely treatments.

The role requires travel between office sites as needed, familiarity with EMR (OncoEMR preferred), and collaboration with nursing and billing teams. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clerical experience required.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier).
• Knowledge of EMR systems (OncoEMR preferred).
• Willingness to travel to multiple office sites.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and oral instruction for visits, labs, injections, and chemotherapy.
• Support clinical providers and coordinates care with billing for timely education and treatment start.
• Ensure pre-certification for scheduled treatments and maintain communications with staff.
• Assist triage nurses and manage inventory and supplies.
