Job summary
Minnesota Oncology in Minnesota is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a team dedicated to cancer care. Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, you will assess patients, plan and implement care, and participate in prevention, screening, patient education, and research.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $100,000–$180,000 annually. The role requires MSN and MN RN license with NP certification for NPs, or PA program
Qualifications
- MSN required for NP role and NP certification.
- Current MN RN license and NP certification required for NP candidates.
- For PA candidates: completion of accredited PA program and MN licensure with CPR.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
- Initiates and documents interventions; prescribes therapies as indicated.
- Performs procedures after appropriate training.
- Assesses patient/family needs and provides education.
- Promotes wellness and community resource referrals.
- Incorporates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
- Completes documentation and charge capture in timely fashion.
- May provide case management and staff education.
- Rounding at affiliated sites and after-hours duties may apply.
