Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to ensure accurate scheduling of oncology-related surgical procedures and pre-admission testing in coordination with anesthesia and other providers. You will collaborate with the JMCPG team, OR staff and physicians to accommodate all department customers and maintain efficient workflow; perform other duties as assigned.

Required: 2–4 years of healthcare outpatient experience and BLS certification through the

Qualifications

2-4 years of healthcare experience in outpatient setting.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
Knowledge of outpatient procedures and medical terminology required.
Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and computer skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment, time management skills and follow appropriate procedures when setting priorities and handling stressful situations.
Knowledge of Healthcare Scheduling Software preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule oncology-related surgical procedures and pre-admission testing appointments in coordination with anesthesia and other providers.
