Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse in Oncology to join the Cancer Center on a part-time basis (0.7 FTE, 56 hours per pay period) with day shifts. You will provide direct patient care, administer chemotherapy, and educate patients and families about disease processes and prevention.

Minnesota RN licensure and oncology experience are required; OCN certification or eligibility within 2 years is expected; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have MN RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Oncology nursing experience and chemotherapy administration are required.
• OCN certification or eligibility to obtain within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care.
