HealthPartners is seeking an experienced RN for a per diem Infusion Clinic role in Minnesota. You will perform nursing care, assessments, planning, and evaluations in a collaborative oncology setting, coordinating with diverse care teams to meet patient needs.
The infusion responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and IV therapies, while maintaining a supportive, patient-centered environment for patients and families.
Regions is seeking an experienced RN to work in a per diem position in our Infusion Clinic. In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will provide professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in accordance with Oncology Nursing Society and institutional standards of care. When working in the oncology clinic, the nurse functions in a care coordination role, addressing patient needs and communicating with physicians, inpatient, homecare, and hospice staff as appropriate. When working in the chemotherapy infusion room, administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other intravenous medications according to established standards. Demonstrates a caring, competent manner to instill patient confidence and contribute to an environment that is centered on the needs of patients and their families.
Per Diem
Per Diem requires minimum of 3 years (6240 hours) of RN experience.At manager’s discretion, relative related experience may preclude 3-year minimum nursing requirement for per diem.
Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire).
BLS through AHA certified program.
Recent experience in chemotherapy administration preferred.
