Job summary

Texas Oncology in Fort Worth is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the cancer care team at our Fort Worth Cancer Center. This full-time role involves psychosocial assessment, counseling, and coordination of care for patients and families in a busy oncology setting.

Ideal candidates hold an LCSW license in Texas, with 3–5 years of clinical social work experience in healthcare, preferably oncology. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a clinical social worker in healthcare; oncology/hospice experience preferred.
• Valid and current Texas LCSW license.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat psychosocial issues related to cancer care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary medical team to address psychosocial needs.
• Document interventions accurately in the EMR and assist with billing as required.
• Develop and facilitate support resources and groups for patients and families.
• Educate clinic staff on psychosocial aspects of cancer care and community resources.
