Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Licensed Social Worker to provide clinical social work services to patients and families, including assessments, counseling, goal setting, advocacy, and care plan implementation.

Requires MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, FL LCSW or eligible, with at least 2 years post-MSW experience; oncology experience preferred. Strong communication and computer skills are needed to coordinate referrals and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Florida LCSW or out-of-state LCSW with plan to obtain FL LCSW within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years post-MSW social work experience; oncology social work preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and basic competence in common computer applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical social work services to patients, families, and significant others.
• Conduct social work assessments, counseling, goal setting, advocacy, and care plan implementation.
• Make referrals to outside agencies and coordinate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with and provide leadership within the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
