Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking an Oncology Scheduler to support the scheduling of infusion and provider appointments for Oncology & Hematology patients. The role requires greeting patients, verifying details, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure accurate pre-op lab testing and timely appointments.

You will verify patient information, confirm appointments, and communicate prep instructions, while maintaining confidentiality and a tidy work area.

Qualifications

• Familiar with medical terminology and routine clinical scheduling.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Professional communication with patients, providers, and staff.
• Willingness to learn new computer systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly manner and verify information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and pre-op testing.
• Contact patients to confirm appointments and procedures.
• Explain prep instructions and route to nurse as needed.
• Prepare paperwork for doctors, referral coordinators, and files.
• Coordinate with facilities to verify doctor schedules daily.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a clean work area.
• Cover or fill in for coworkers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
