Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide specialized care in the Radiation Oncology area on-site in Illinois. The role emphasizes data collection, care planning, and collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and the care team.

The position requires ARIA proficiency, IV and BLS certification, and a nursing degree with Illinois RN licensure. Oncology experience is preferred; on-site schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• IV and BLS certification required.
• Six months oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to a group of patients as assigned by the supervisor.
• Establishes workload priorities and input into plan of care; encourages patient participation.
• Provides and documents care per standards under supervision of Radiation Oncologist.
• Identifies expected outcomes with guidance of MD/Radiation Oncologist; collaborates with care team.
• Demonstrates competency in age-specific care, medication administration, and equipment use; starts IVs or ports for CT Simulations.
• Assumes responsibility for professional development; performs other duties as assigned.
