Job summary

Memorial Health in Illinois is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to a group of oncology patients under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The position features a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm, with every other Monday off.

Responsibilities include collecting patient data, updating ARIA records, prioritizing plan of care, and collaborating with Radiology team. Requires Illinois RN license, IV and BLS certs; oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois RN license to practice.
• IV certification and BLS certification required.
• Oncology experience of 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data within clinical standards and updates patient records in ARIA.
• Sets workload priorities and contributes to care plan.
• Provides care per patient plan under Radiation Oncologist supervision.
• Collaborates with Radiation Therapists, Nurses, and Aides to optimize patient experience.
• Starts IVs or ports for CT Simulations.
• Commits to professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
