Illinois CancerCare is seeking a full-time Treatment Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered cancer care with a compassionate, team-driven approach. The role emphasizes administering therapies, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and fellow nurses.

Qualified candidates hold an Illinois RN license, with a BSN preferred, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. The position offers weekdays only, with travel to satellite clinics as needed and a focus on safety and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license (required)
• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience
• Passion for oncology nursing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate cancer care to patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments with safety protocols.
• Assist physicians with procedures and nursing assessments.
• Prepare daily treatment schedules and teaching materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment and delegate tasks as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and operate necessary equipment.
• Triages patient calls and support other nurses across the network.
