Job summary

Illinois Cancer Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5 PM) in Arlington Heights. The role provides professional oncology nursing care under supervision, adheres to standards, and supports interdisciplinary teams in patient-centered treatment plans.

Candidates should hold an RN license with BSN preferred, 3-5 years nursing experience including oncology, and a commitment to ongoing education and compliance programs.

Qualifications

• RN state license and current registration.
• BSN preferred.
• 3-5 years nursing experience including oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient and history.
• Administer therapies under physician supervision and monitor responses.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality while supporting the care team.
• Facilitate patient flow, pre-testing, and referrals; triage calls when needed.
