Job summary

CentraState Medical Center is offering an RN Residency in Medical/Surgical Oncology for newly licensed RNs or those with less than one year of experience. The 12-month program includes preceptorship, structured didactics, and simulations to bridge classroom learning with clinical practice in a growing oncology unit.

Starting pay is $44 per hour with opportunities for gradual responsibility increases and 1:1 mentorship from a dedicated educator and preceptor.

Qualifications

• Must be a soon-to-be or newly licensed RN or have less than one year of working RN experience.
• Must have a BSN or ASN degree, passed the NCLEX and have a NJ RN license before the employment start date.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Starting salary $44.00 hr.
• All offers will be for Full Time only. No guarantee of shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete 12-month RN Residency with preceptorship, didactic, and simulation experiences.
• Be hired as a full-time, benefit-eligible employee.
• Balance classroom learning and on-the-floor exposure.
• Be paired with a trained preceptor on your unit and receive gradual increases in responsibility.
• Have opportunities to learn from Wound Care and Respiratory Therapy teams and to float between units as needed.
