Job summary

The Ohio State University is offering a Staff Nurse (RN) position in their Critical Care Oncology New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. This unique opportunity allows newly licensed nurses to transition from students to professionals with a structured 14–20 week paid orientation.

Residents will engage in hands-on clinical experiences and in-depth learning, supported by an Educator coordinating their development. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, assessing nursing needs, and collaborating with the care team for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure or an interim permit in registered nursing from the State of Ohio.
• Previous experience in a relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and supportive services within critical care oncology.
• Assess, prescribe, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Manage nursing care provided by other team members.
