Job summary

Tennessee Oncology in Nashville area is seeking an experienced RN to provide safe, quality care across the cancer treatment continuum from diagnosis to end of life. You will collaborate with physicians, manage chemotherapy administration, IV starts, and patient education while maintaining EMR documentation and adherence to SCRI protocols when applicable.

Candidates must hold TN or compact state RN licensure, have oncology experience, BLS, and CHEMO/BIO certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing principles and oncology patient care.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing IV therapy.
• Proficiency with EMR and oncology protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct patient care with the care team.
• Assist with treatment planning and symptom management.
• Perform IV starts and manage ports as needed.
• Document charges, test results, and medication administration.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and care.
