Job summary
Endeavor Health’s Highland Park Hospital seeks a Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology to join our Highland Park location. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 4:30pm with no weekends or holidays, and may involve travel to Evanston and Glenbrook/Glenview centers as needed.
You will provide compassionate oncology care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support patient safety and quality outcomes in a high-acuity setting.
Qualifications
- State of Illinois RN licensure required.
- Associate's in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
- CPR certification required; OCN/ONS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required.
- If no oncology experience, ED/ICU/PACU experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care for oncology outpatients.
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Guide assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
