Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, CO is seeking an Oncology RN for night shift duties. You will assess patients across biological, psychological and social dimensions, and design individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.

You will administer meds, educate families, document thoroughly, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while providing compassionate emotional support to patients and relatives.

Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience and patient-focused care.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a hospital setting.
• Ability to read and interpret medical records and orders.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Document care activities and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record.
