Job summary
Endocrine News is seeking a Registered Nurse for Evanston Hospital. The role is 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and weekends rotating. Location is Evanston, IL, with full-time/part-time flexibility depending on staffing needs.
The RN will provide care to diverse patient populations, apply the nursing process, and ensure regulatory compliance. Experience is preferred, and certifications include BLS/CPR with Oncology training to be obtained within nine months of hire.
Qualifications
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current IL nursing license required.
- BLS/CPR certification required; must obtain Oncology cert within nine months.
- 1 year nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
- Assume responsibility and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
- Supervise assigned unlicensed nursing personnel delivering patient care.
- Contribute to safety and high quality patient experience.
