Job summary

Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Oncology RN for the 2A Med Surg unit. This full-time role (36 hours/week) features day shifts, a welcome bonus up to $35,000, and new pay rates for 2026.

You will provide patient-centered care, administer chemotherapy, monitor vitals, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. 0-2 years clinical nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.

• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop and adjust care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and promptly in the medical record.
