Lutheran Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Oncology on 2A to join a 24-bed unit. This full-time role is .9 FTE (36 hours/week), with day shift 7a–7p. Welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000 and new pay rates for 2026.

The RN provides patient-centered cancer care, coordinates assessments, administers chemotherapy when needed, and collaborates with the care team to support patients and families throughout treatment and recovery.

Formación

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure is required.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and clinical protocols.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, document administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure effective patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Oncology RN duties include administering chemotherapy, managing side effects, and supporting patients and families.
