Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan in good standing.
• BSN within 8 years of hire date.
• BLS certification required by completion of orientation.
• Critial care or ALS or related certifications may be required for some RNs.

Responsibilities

• Manage care delivery for patients using the nursing process (assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate).
• Coordinate care with other professionals and delegate tasks within scope of practice.
• Document patient responses, resources used, and anticipated needs during each shift.
• Assist with discharge planning and ensure high-quality outcomes and timely discharge.
