Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Battle Creek seeks an Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse for a full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period), Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, in the Bronson Oncology and Hematology unit. Under general supervision you will manage patient care from assessment to discharge, coordinating with the care team and utilizing nursing processes.

Associate degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred within 8 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• BSN within 8 years of hire date if not already held.
• BLS certification required by completion of core orientation.
• Critical care or ALS as well as other certifications may be required for some RNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Oncology and Hematology unit.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support timely discharge and quality outcomes.
• Document patient responses, resource use, and anticipated needs during each shift.
• Maintain nursing competencies and state licensure per Michigan requirements.
