Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Medical Oncology unit on the day shift. The 37-bed unit delivers chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and end‑of‑life care in collaboration with physicians, pharmacy, case management, and nursing leadership.

You will plan and provide professional nursing care per orders and policies, with oncology/chemo training provided during orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher is required.
• North Carolina RN license or eligibility to obtain license within required timeframe.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy as trained and per DUHS guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case management, and nursing teams.
• Document patient data and care plans accurately in the medical record.
• Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans and unit procedures.
