Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Registered Nurse for our hospital-based Hematology/Oncology Clinic in Winston-Salem, NC. The role supports chemotherapy, immunotherapy and blood product administration in a fast-paced setting.

Required: RN license and BLS with typically 2 years of clinical nursing experience. The department emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient-centered care across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing services.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives and care process improvements.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate nursing care with the patient and family.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in coordination with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrate effective communication, delegation and teamwork.
