UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic. The role uses the Nursing Process from admission to discharge, with patient assessments and discharge planning. Responsibilities include directing nursing care, supervising staff, and delegating tasks per competency level.

Required: MA nursing license, ONS/ONCC chemotherapy-immunotherapy cert, BLS; ACLS preferred. Oncology experience and chemotherapy exposure within 3 years are valued.

Formación

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification required.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN (ACLS current is preferred).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.
• ONCC certification applicable to specific unit.
• Minimum 1 year of Oncology-related experience in the last 3 years.
• Chemotherapy-related experience within the last 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care in the unit.
• Delegates appropriately per job description and competency level.
