Maria Parham Health, Henderson, NC, is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care to cancer patients using the nursing process. You will work closely with the Oncology Director and care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires current NC RN licensure (compact okay), an ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience with chemotherapy/biotherapy is required.

Qualificações

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact license)
• ASN in Nursing from an accredited program; BSN preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS (required)
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy (required)
• Active NC RN license (single state) or compact; if relocating, licensure must be updated before employment

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care to Oncology patients using the nursing process
• Performs nursing duties with supervision as needed and with leadership qualities
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition; communicates with care team, physician, patient, family
• Assesses patient status, prioritizes problems, and coordinates care with multidisciplinary team
• Supports activities of daily living and patient education appropriate to age and condition
• Coordinates transfers, discharges, and referrals as needed
