Job summary

Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Oncology RN to provide direct patient care at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, NC. You will join a team dedicated to quality care and patient advocacy, reporting to the Director of Oncology.

Responsibilities include caring for oncology patients, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians and families. A strong clinical background with BLS, ACLS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy training is required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact license.
• ASN in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy training or certification required.
• Active NC RN license (single state) or compact; relocation must update PSOR.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to Oncology patients using the nursing process.
• Reports to: Director of Oncology.
• Delivers compassionate, high-quality care across diverse patient needs.
• Documents care and monitors patient status, communicates with care team and family.
• Assists with activities of daily living and coordinates transfers and discharge as needed.
