Job summary

Banner Health in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology for our new facility opening in 2027. You will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert nursing assessments, manage symptoms, coordinate follow-up care, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

The role is outpatient in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, requiring nursing excellence and a passion for cancer care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is desired.
• Access and communicate with multidisciplinary teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, emotional, and educational needs and plan nursing care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities with the health care team.
• Document assessments, plans, and interventions in patient records.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
• Promote evidence-based practice and nursing quality indicators.
