Job summary

MultiCare Health System, Inc. in Gig Harbor, Washington is seeking a part-time RN Oncology to join the Oncology Care team.

You will administer chemotherapy and radiation treatments and provide professional nursing care during clinic hours. Requirements include a current WA RN license (MLS acceptable), BLS certification, and 2 years of acute care experience preferred; a BSN is preferred as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two (2) years experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting patient autonomy and dignity.
